Everything looks good so far. Haven’t really had a chance to put it to the test yet, so hopefully it works just as well when I actually need it.

For battery longevity, charge a battery as slow as you can with least amount of heat. I don't mind that for the safemate 40W charge. Also the clamps on the safemate are good. I use it at work.

I bought a cheap $52 jump starter on Temu first because it said it could handle an 8L diesel. Yeah... that didn’t go well when I actually needed it.
Ordered this SAFEMATE that same night. Used it on my Ford Power Stroke and it started the truck with no problem. That’s really all I cared about, honestly.
Haven’t even tried the light or power bank stuff yet. I bought it for one reason — to get my truck started when the battery is dead lol. So far, it’s done exactly that.

Bought this back in June for my Tahoe with the 5.3 V8. I probably went a little overkill getting the 3000 PRO, but I’d rather have more power than find out later I bought one that was too small.

Shipping took a few days and the box showed up fine. Nothing really worth mentioning there, which is probably a good thing.

I didn’t actually need it right away. The first real use was sometime in July after my Tahoe had been sitting and the battery didn’t have enough to turn the engine over. Hooked this up and it started on the first try. Pretty much exactly what I bought it for.

A few weeks later my neighbor asked if I had jumper cables because his F-150 with the 5.0 V8 wouldn’t start. I brought this over instead. His truck fired up too. I’ve used it three times altogether now and haven’t had a failed start yet.

I haven’t tried it on a diesel, so no idea there. I mainly bought it for my own SUV anyway.

One thing I didn’t expect was getting an email every so often reminding me to charge it. I usually forget about stuff like this once it’s in the back of the car, so that’s actually been useful. Got one of those reminders today and realized I hadn’t checked it in a while. It still had charge, but I plugged it in anyway.

Haven’t had a chance to see how it does in really cold weather yet. That’ll have to wait until winter.

So far, no complaints. It mostly just sits in the back of my Tahoe, which is where I hope it stays. But the three times I’ve needed it, it worked.
